President & Founder

Dr. Becker is a pediatrician and founder of Vivacare. His lifelong commitment to patient education began with hand drawings on the exam room table paper explaining childhood illnesses to anxious parents. Dr. Becker co-founded Salu Inc. in 1995 and, with a team of medical writers, published some of the first online health references for consumers. The company went on to develop a variety of Internet-based tools used by over 15,000 small to mid-size medical practices, including practice Websites, patient education references, medical messaging, PDA-enabled clinical references, and e-prescribing.

Dr. Becker started Vivacare in 2005 with a focus on helping physicians to educate their patients.

David Pincus
Vice President, Marketing

David Pincus is a business executive with 30 years of industry experience, including more than 15 years in healthcare. He has worked in executive positions with Blue Cross of California, Access Health, Hearing Science and Salu, Inc. before joining Vivacare. His background includes marketing, advertising, sales, and account management. He has managed online marketing programs for pharmaceutical clients including Astra-Zeneca, Biogen, Cephalon, Galderma, Elan, Johnson & Johnson, and Stiefel.
