Physician Services

Vivacare collaborates with organizations that provide educational and practice management services for physicians.

• derm.md's goal is to educate healthcare providers using the latest technological advances and custom-designed software applications. In so doing, they hope to facilitate the learning process and ultimately enhance patient care.

• DrScore is a unique, new website for measuring patient satisfaction. Patients go to the site to rate their satisfaction. Patients can also use the site to search the ratings of other physicians. Physicians can view summaries of their ratings through the site, or receive more detailed reports that allow them to "drill down" into the data to provide opportunities to improve service.

• JournalReview.org is an online forum dedicated to the medical literature. One can utilize Journal Review to perform a complete Pubmed query, read and rate articles, as well as participate in discussion of current and past articles. Journal Review hopes its users may gain a better understanding of medical literature and practice evidence-based-medicine.

Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Firms

Pharmaceutical and medical device firms work with Vivacare to provide additional information regarding their products, including multimedia content and rebate coupons. This information is designed to help patients understand the role of therapy, establish appropriate expectations, take/apply the medication or device properly, and increase patient compliance with therapy. The information they offer is purely educational in nature, similar to paper-based handouts or rebate coupons you might use in your practice.
