Dr. Baker received his undergraduate degree in chemistry and medical degree (MD) from the University of Virginia. He then completed an internal medicine residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. He then completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary diseases and Critical Care at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
