Amy J. Huber, PA-C has over 12 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in dermatology. She entered the field after graduating form Saint Louis University in 1995 where she completed her medical training. After spending three years working with a prominent Moh’s surgeon in Iowa and practicing general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, she and her husband returned to Colorado to be near family. Amy has a strong interest in dermatological surgery and has achieved additional training and certification in several surgical procedures such as ambulatory phlebectomy.
Amy has acted as sub investigator on numerous clinical trials and continues to have an interest in research. She regularly attends the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology and accumulates over 50 hours of continuing medical education per year. Amy recently passed national recertifying exams in both medicine and surgery, as PA’s are required to do so every six years in order to maintain licensure. Amy is a member of AAPA and SDPA (she was one of the original 150 members of PA’s in dermatology). Her other interests include spending time with her husband and two young children, biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
