About Dr. Janet Prystowsky, MD

Janet Prystowsky, M.D., Ph.D. is a board certified dermatologist specializing in the surgical treatment of skin disorders. She received her Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1979, and her M.D., with honors, from the University of Chicago in 1983. Dr. Prystowsky did her residency training in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania graduating in 1987. She is one of a small number of dermatologists specially trained to perform Mohs Micrographic Surgery and other surgical procedures of the skin. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.  She is trained in Laser Surgery of the skin and is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc.  She also is a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
