About Dr. Jenny Stone, MD
Dr. Stone is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs and dermatologic surgeon. She completed her undergraduate training at Barnard College at Columbia University in New York City. She received her M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School and did an internship at University of Hawaii.
After serving in the Public Health Service for 2 years in Winslow, Arizona, she returned to Hawaii to work two years at Kauai Medical Group. She did her dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She completed a dermatologic surgery fellowship with Dr. Richard Bennett in Santa Monica, CA. She practiced in Honolulu, HI for 16 years before moving to NC in 2007. Her practice is primarily dermatologic surgery, with special interests in Mohs surgery (removal of skin cancer) with reconstruction, and cosmetic dermatology such as lasers, fillers, Botox, and sclerotherapy (treatment of leg veins).
