About Dr. Matthew Beal, MD
Dr. Matthew W. Beal, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients at Pima Dermatology where he serves as Medical Director and Co-Owner of the practice.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and also Alpha Omega Alpha, and is the past President of the Tucson Dermatology Society.
Dr. Beal is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona. He hosts medical students and residents monthly at Pima Dermatology to impart important skills to the next generation of dermatologists. He has received various awards for his academic and professional achievements which include, “Most Outstanding Clinical Research Endeavor” in 2013 and “Commitment to Underserved People Award” in 2009.

Dr. Beal, a Tucson native, earned his medical degree (MD) at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He then completed his Dermatology Residency at the University Of Minnesota, where he served as Chief Resident his final year.
