Dr. Salim Surani serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine, Department of Pulmonary, and the Critical Care & Sleep Medicine Department at Texas A&M University. He also currently serves as the Program Director for the Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship Program in Corpus Christi.

Dr. Surani also has served as secretary and board of trustee for THE CHEST Foundation.

Dr. Salim Surani serves on the editorial board for several journals, has authored more than 150 articles in medical journals and has written several medical textbooks. He has also served as the reviewer for more than 20 peer-reviewed journals.
