About Holly Perry, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Certified Nurse Practitioners (FNP-C) are medical providers formally trained in post graduate courses from one of many accredited academic medical model training programs in the U.S.

Holli Perry, MSN, APRN, FNP-C,  graduated from James Martin High School in Arlington with honors in 2008. She graduated Cum Lade with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth in 2012, while serving as the Vice President of the Beta Alpha Chapter for the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society. She became licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing in 2012.

She began her professional career as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2012 at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, where she worked in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. At Parkland, she became certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. In 2015, she transitioned to work as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. While at Cook, she became a Certified Pediatric Nurse.

She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. She became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by the Texas Board of Nursing in 2018. She advanced her profession and joined Arlington Center for Dermatology as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018.

Holli married her husband, Scottye, in 2013 and they reside in Arlington with their Goldendoodle, Joey. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors with her husband and playing with her nephews.

To remain nationally certified, Holli  must must log 1000 clinical hours and complete 100 hours of Continuing Education (CE) every 5 years, or pass a national re-certification examination every 5 years.

Nurse Practitioners have been practicing with dermatologists for 20 years, providing a wide variety of services, including diagnosis, prescription, ordering and interpreting lab tests, wound suturing, and medical or surgical treatment of a wide variety of clinical pathology. Dermatology NPs are legally and ethically bound to practice ONLY under supervision by their employing physician.
