About Me

David Lambert, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon providing medical and surgical dermatology care to patients at OSU Dermatology where he serves as Clinical Associate Professor, Dermatologic and Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Lambert received his undergraduate degree from Oberlin College prior to getting his medical degree (MD) from Ohio State University. He completed his Dermatology Residency training at Ohio State University.  He then went on to pursue additional training in the treatment of skin cancer by completing a Mohs Surgery Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin.

Why do I practice in academic dermatology?

I work in academic dermatology to help with the missions of a major medical center in serving patients, helping to train new health professionals and assisting in medical research.

The Ohio State University Division of Dermatology, offers the latest in accurate diagnostic care. The services offered include general dermatologic evaluation, contact dermatitis patch testing, phototherapy, dermatologic surgery, Mohs Micrographic surgery and a medical Dermatology clinic for complicated or high risk patients. Chemical peels, resurfacing, vascular laser treatments and sclerotherapy procedures are performed at some locations.
