Dr. F. Victor Rueckl specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He has particular expertise in the use of Mohs surgery for the treatment of skin cancer and the use of botulinum toxin (Botox), dermal fillers (Juvederm) and lasers for the treatment of aging skin and wrinkles.
Dr. Frank Victor Rueckl III, MD is a board-certified Las Vegas dermatologist and Mohs surgeon providing care to patients at Lakes Dermatology which he founded.
Dr. Rueckl previously opened a private practice for dermatology and Mohs cancer surgery in Reno, Nevada and ran the dermatology department at Kaiser Permanente in Bakersfield.
Dr. Rueckl also started The Spa at Lakes Dermatology in May 2005.
Dr. Rueckl has become a national trainer for various injectables and laser manufacturers, training other medical professionals about the proper use of cosmetic procedures. He is currently an Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) Faculty Member. He also serves as an InMode Key Opinion Leader. His offices serve as a Candela Center of Excellence. And finally, his offices are currently the only SkinCeuticals Flagship Advanced Clinical Spa in Nevada.
In addition to his membership in other esteemed professional organizations, Dr. Rueckl is a Fellow in the American Association of Cosmetic Dermatology.
Education & Training
After receiving a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Southern California (USC), Dr. Rueckl attended medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine before receiving his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
Dr. Rueckl then completed his dermatology residency training at Brown University School of Medicine before pursuing additional Fellowship training in Mohs surgery at UC Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine.
