Rosacea 101

Rosacea is a chronic skin disorder that first appears as redness on the cheeks, nose, or forehead.

It usually first shows up with mild symptoms on people over 30 years old. Over time, the redness may become darker and last longer.

Symptoms may worsen during “flares”.

There is no cure for rosacea, but treatment is available to reverse symptoms and reduce the number of flares.

Early diagnosis and treatment is recommended to prevent symptoms from becoming worse.
